David Kilgour, former Canadian secretary of State for Asia-Pacific, and renowned human rights lawyer David Matas, formed an investigation team to look into organ harvesting of Falun Gong Falun Gong practitioners in China. It drew “the regrettable conclusion that the allegations are true”.
After the release of their original report in July 2006, as of June 2007, David Matas and David Kilgour have been invited to speak in almost 30 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
